The Wrong Coat that I bought

I've never been in Winter before. Even I was not sure of what it was like.
Just a week before my departure, I went to the shop in Jakarta to buy things I needed, especially clothes. I bought this coat ready for the winter. I noticed no man wore this kind of coat. I then realized that the coat I bought was for women. I you may think I looked funny in that. That was the second day I arrived in London.

It's understandable, I was the same the first I went to London. But I didn't know what shoes to wear as back home I always wear sandals so I was wearing flip flops in London in September lol. I don't think Londoners will mind, it is a big city and people will barely look at you twice. You don't look that bad.

how did you know it was for women? did someone tell you?
i think what's important is it helped to keep you warm.

The coat looks ok. The only difference between a man's and a woman's coat is the way it's buttoned.
You may think it's winter now. Yet, it isn't. Winter is still far away. It starts on 21st December. The season Europeans have now is autumn (British English) / fall (American Engl.).
