Are you aware of 5S habit? This is very common in most of the offices, this is basically a Standard of cleaning and organizing of place, originated from Japan and now adopted and observed by most of the Companies. To make my story short, we are required by the company to strictly observe this standard. We have assigned auditors that quarterly visits our department to check on if we are following the standard . During visit , they have a standard checklist of what to look for, you will be rated 0 for non compliance and 1 for being compliant. How serious it is? Your rate will affect your performance during evaluation period, so meaning it will also affect your salary increase. That's how serious this company in the implementation of this standard. How about in your office guys?

5S means - SORT, SET IN ORDER ,SHINE, STANDARDIZE, and SUSTAIN. each S have its own sub-standards. Each of sub- standards mentioned in the checklist has its corresponding rate.

Haha. you should be happy then. Following that standards is kinda hard also. But if you think the benefit you can get from it its gonna be okay to practice it.

Yeah I like it too, but sometimes its too good to be true. I mean its too burdensome to do it every day especially when you have a lot of paper works that urgently need to attend to. Sometimes not practical anymore.

In our country there are performance contracts where they check your work performance if the performance is poor your contract will not be renewed.
