Things that make me happy during autumn

The things that make me the happiest during autumn are: 1) The colors of the leaves. Walking in the park or the forest is beautiful this time of year. The orange colored leaves are gorgeous to photograph. I also love driving around rural areas in the fall. 2) Drinking hot tea / hot chocolate My two favorite drinks in the autumn/winter season. 3) Pumpkins and gourds I have written about my pumpkins and gourds before but I love decorating with them and making other fall decorations. 4) Picking apples and grapes, then making pies and wine. We have plenty of grapes and apples in the garden. We made wine this year and it is very sweet and tasty. 5) Autumn scents. There are autumn-specific scents that make me happy. Pumpkin spice, gingerbread, apple are all scent I love. If you have things you love about autumn, let me know . (photo is mine)

All that sounds good..Our Autumn is not like yours. The hot drinks yes and the pumpkins. I love the festivals and the flowers blooming all around

I am envious that you have four seasons and you have autumn. But someday, I am wishing that I can go to a country and experience winter and autumn. For us, there is only the wet and dry season.

This is the month of picking apples here, grapes have already been harvested at the end of September. This year is very warm, not yet the time for a hot chocolate.

@tzwrites I think this year we're going to have snow before the trees are fully turned. The tree in front of my window is still mostly green, though it's starting to turn.

The weather, the pumpkins, the chestnuts, my birthday (meaning horoscope tends to be good). I just hate summer, that also helps to make me enjoy autumn more.

That is a great list of things to enjoy in autumn. It is spring in Australia but the weather is still very iffy. I hope it becomes warmer and sunnier soon.

I prefer Autumn too. Its a time of year that I love the most after a long long hot Summer way too much heat and now time to cool down.
