When I do nothing, what I did, what I saw and any happenings in the past flashs back in my mind. I sometimes feel happy and also sad remembering this. Why does this happen? I mean why the past experience comes back in the back of my mind? Any idea mylotters?

The best way to get some memories out is to just get it out, talk about it, write about, draw, sing, do whatever. See the reason why these memories keep flashing back. They will never go away, but they will hurt less. I suffer from manic depression, so I know first hand how hard it is to see these sad memories. Just know that happier memories will be created and just keep thinking about the good.

@DesirousDreamer , it is so nice to remember especially love-related memories, oh what a recall then.

Can't help in my case, aging seems to wipe my memory department out cleanly.

@YrNemo you are funny my friend, age does not matter at all and the more one gets older, the more the chances are to recall what has been forgotten to check the past if worth to remember or bury forever.

Almost all normal humans do the same to recall the past and the past that seemed painful to feel will be felt no longer painful as time goes by, meaning time heals a broken heart.
