A young lady who did not want to be identified is warning the citizens of Moore Oklahoma to be careful since there one man who claims to be a police officer driving around the city. The victim of the scam was in her home near Eastern Avenue and Northeast 19th Street when the fake police officer was rummaging thru her husband's truck The fake policeman was carrying a leather case that contained a fake police badge, It is evident that the female victim knew something about badges since she may been in law enforcement in her past. The female victim said the fake policeman who backed away from her home told her that was a series of break ins in the area and that another police officer would come to visit her. When the police did not come to her home, she called the Moore Police Department to report the crime. She was shocked and angry that the Moore Police Department reported to her that was no police officers in her neighborhood. The female victim said she did not get a good luck at the phony badge but she is warning citizens in her neighborhood to be on the lookout for a fake policeman.

We've had something similar happen here. Some have a blue light they can put on the top of their car to pull people over then rob them.

Thank you for telling me since there are reports nationwide of fake police officers committing crimes from stealing from drivers to eating in restaurants.

People will do anything to make a quick buck even it is thumbing their nose at the police.

It is sad that there were no policemen in the area to try and figure out how to Stop this guy before something bad actually does happen to someone. Just glad that you were able to deter him at least for now.
