It means using your computer CPU or GPU power to complete some processes.
The completion of these processes turns into currency. That's how you mine bitcoin.
It can spoil these parts after a while, and it can be slow if your computer isn't a top performing one.
In fact most miners add external parts and let them do the job.
Considering the current price of BTC, I don't see bitcoin mining as something profitable (it requires investment as you need to buy the parts and supply power).

@Lignitecityabishek96 Well, that is all I know.
It sounds a little strange that the coins are made of activity some computer did in the past, but that is how this currency is made.
