We’re losing hope....

It’s been over a week since Munchkin has gone missing and 4-5 days since Spunky. There are no sign of them. They haven’t been home. None of the neighbors have seen them. And they haven’t been down at my house. (I live down the street from my sister) Her two cats are nowhere to be found. We are trying to keep up a brave face and keep hoping for the kids sake, who are refusing to give up hope that they will be home. For the adults, we know how nasty and cruel people can be. They can hit an animal with a car and keep going. They can poison stray animals and torture them. They can shoot them with B.B. guns which is what happened to Spunky last year. My hope is that someone took them in and kept them as pets but I fear the reality is that since they have been gone this long, that they may be dead. I don’t want to give up hope but the longer they’re gone the more I’m worried that they will never come back.

I really hope none of those bad things us adults know can happen, happened.

@CountryGirl31 Yes it certainly is reality even though it is so sick and terrifying to think there are people who could do such things.

I search everyday. Last night, we thought we saw one of them and everyone got so excited but it wasn't either of them. I really dont think we are going to find them.

The fact that both of them are missing suggests human intervention, doesn't it?.

Yes, I believe that someone has them or has done something to them. It's just not like them to be gone this long. They've always come home before.

Have you contacted the local animal shelters? I hope that you find them soon.

Yes, my sister called them and I've emailed pictures of them. We also have had several facebook posts on all the lost pet groups and no one has seen them. So I guess the next step will be flyers but even then, I dont think we will find them. Even if I offered a reward for their safe return, I think it might be too late.
