Tsunami that wiped out most of the regions of Aceh in 2004. You may have heard of the news. Those who disappeared included blue-eyed tribe living in the secluded coastal area of Aceh. Those remain alive are only a few in number. The ill-fated western-looking tribe is said to be descendants of the Portuguese sellers who were stranded and arrested by indigenous people. They finally married indigenous women there and developed into large group of people living in several villages along the coast for many generations.
Their being secluded from the rest of the Aceh population was due to their physical appearance, which was much different to those living in most regions of Aceh. They were said to shy people.

Was this happened last December 2004? I remember watching it in television. It was a heartbreaking news.
