how to have a office with out rent

for me before I move in at my friends for me to get internet I had to go the book store, or a fast food place to get on line so the place became my office kind of. I was able to apply for jobs get checking books balance. and if I use th library I was able to print stuff up right away.my lap top does save stuff so If I need to print and was not at the library I was able to do that home with my printer with out needing wi-fi , one time I was doing my taxes in the bookstore and my friend stop by and say is this your office? I said yes and other thing good about the book store is they book there so If I need to find some thing out I had no problems .
