Is it allowed?

I'm posting my weight weekly in the hopes that it will spur me on to eat healthily and lose weight, and I think it would be useful if I post links each week to my discussion from the previous week. Is that allowed, I wonder?

you can link the previous to the latest update (ex. give the link to week 1 when you post week 2) so it's easier for readers to open it in a new tab and get the back story if they're inclined to.

@hereandthere I also do that when I'm too lazy to search for an image to add, so posting a link to a discussion with an image to it, the thumbnail will show that "old" image. Obviously, it must be a post that is linked to the other one in terms of topic/content.

@sabtraversa yes, they should be related to each other. some will write the date of the post they're referring to, but that would entail going to their profile and scrolling through the posts, so putting the link to the referenced post creates the faster and more accurate shortcut

By posting and allowing others to follow your weight loss journey you may motivate others to do that same.

That would be great! If they do, I hope they post about it. So I can take credit

@LilyBeBack Main thing is that you are getting there and that is something to be very proud of. Go for next week and make it a better one.

Thank you I did ok today, not as well as I'd like but I'm happy to ease into it because I don't want to risk a rebound into binge eating

I don't think anyone will actually want to follow the links but it saves me repeating myself just in case
