This is a most glorious fall day! The temps are perfect and the fallen leaves are lovely. My husband has walked with me around the yard some, which was very exhilarating. Funny how things take on a special meaning when you can't do them for a while. I even miss being able to sweep the kitchen floor! Don't think that'll take long to get used to again, though. The pain meds for my shoulder are a very necessary evil/blessing. My biggest blessings are God's mercy and healing, then my husband who is taking good care of me. He's not having to cook much, between different ones bringing food and buying take-out for us. One day next week, he'll bring home pizza for lunch. So, other than being irritable and bored and hurting, I'm fine. Hope you guys are well. Just checking in. I thought about posting a photo of me in this high tech sling/ice shoulder cooler/Tens electrical nerve stimulator contraption, but not in this lifetime.

@Happy2BeMe We've been taking care of each other for 51 years, but some years were better than others!

Appreciate that, Stacy! I took off the cold pack thing and the Tens machine, so it's definitely a little more comfortable, relatively speaking.

Getting some fresh air and being able to take a little walk probably did wonders. It's nice that your hubby is taking good care of you and I'm happy to hear that you're in good spirits even though your bored and in pain. I would have loved to see your contraption as it sounds like something from medieval times

Picture The Terminator in a house dress and it's similar. Arnold 's a sissy next to me.
