Well, I caught it

For a little while, my son has had a cough. Now, it looks as though I've caught it. As much as I don't like getting sick and didn't really want to catch it, I figured that I probably would sooner or later. It's not a pleasant thing. It seems like a lingering kind of thing. Looks like I'll be drinking a lot of tea. Hopefully, we can get rid of this cough pretty quickly.
Such is life sometimes.

Hard not to catch something like this. I finally caught a cold this year after not getting one for several years. Ya, such is life.

Both of my kids are sick right now with colds, but on the tail end. Knock on wood, so far I seem to be doing fine. My daughter's birthday is on Thursday, so I'm really hoping I stay healthy at least through next weekend.
I hope you feel better soon, and that you and the kids return to strong health quickly!

@dodo19 I am off this whole week from work, so if I do happen to come down with something, I can lay around and rest and recover without having to worry about work!

I hope yours clears quicker than mine. My darling granchildren shared their cold. Now five days after the onset....I'm still a coughing, snotty mess. I have t been able to go to visit my father in hospital for a week. I'm hoping tomorrow will be better.
