Talk about food, Filipinos come up with craziest names for restaurants. A take-off from Kung Fu Panda, we have in my vicinity a Hungry Panda. It offers Chinese cuisine, from dimsum to siopao, sweet and sour fish or tausi, pancit lomi, canton, bijon, etcetera. My favorite is chow mein. It is fried noodles. Crisp. One pours a saucy seafood and vegetable topping. Very filling. Very yummy. Who loves Chinese food? Love it.

If I am not mistaken, it is mad from eggs. Not sure really. Noodles is like rice. If rice is healthy, noodles is. Ooops, that is my thinking.

It is lunch time. You must eat. I had six siomai this morning. From 7/11. Actually, their siomai is good. Hot and yummy. Good to eat while driving. I was so hungry I had to stop by the convenient store. Hay.

@wongchoiyee Ohhhmigosh. I have to say that. But yes, I know, I have some Chinese friends and how they love to eat. Lily, my fashionable chinky eyed friend, has a strong sense of smell for food. And my, she can eat all the food served on the table, too.

I love Chinese especially siomai. Hmm, seems like I have not yet tasted chow mein. There's no Chinese restaurant in my place except, well, Chowking... sounds like Chinese only.

I once bought Ilocos noodles at Manila Fame. It is similar to Chow Mein. Crisp and tasty. ilocosboy, siomai has variations now, from pork siomai to beef, chicken, shrimp siomai, now we have shark's fin. And some siomai are fried. Fried siopao became a craze a few years back.

Now I have to look for that noodles here. Maybe in other region like Cagayan and Isabela who has this pansit batil-patong which they say very delicious. Our pansit here is the one they called "linaddit" and most they are being sold in the province of Abra-- neighbor of Ilocos Sur. Any kind of siomai for me, be it from Chowking or being sold in the street.

@ilocosboy Pansit batil patong. Pansit linaddit. I will check those names. We might have that in the supermarket. Bagnet is famous at Bonifacio Global City's Mercato.

I love Chinese food, but it is a little pricey so I only get to have it once every few months. I love chow mein and sweet and sour pork.
