Alligators eating Sharks?

I saw a wild and crazy article about how there was a study and that study led to the conclusion that in some cases, alligators will eat sharks. Many scientists and even I never thought that the two could cross paths since sharks are salt water creatures and alligators are fresh water creatures. But, the study found that both creatures can wade into the mixing of the ocean and fresh waters of estuaries and that way can cross paths. It even said on even rarer occasions sharks will eat small younger alligators.
It is an interesting article.
As far as research goes, it sounds pretty intense: pumping the stomachs of 500-plus alligators—live and alert ones at that.

That article is very interesting, we do not have alligators but we have large if not the largest in the world saltwater crocodiles gives me an idea just what happens when they are out there in the open sea. I did not know alligators ventured to the ocean.

Yes, those saltwater crocodiles, I bet, eat not only sharks but many other sea creatures.

A fight between a gator and shark sounds like a SyFy Channel movie.

I agree, but the way they do that is a part of the food chain. I remember learning about that in school.

I am not fond of either one so I think they can eat each other all they want as far as I am concerned but yes it is surprising.

It would be so scary if there's alligators in the seas! Who won between the two?
