Teen gets face slashed in town

The big news in town is that a 17 year old had her cheek slashed with a scalpel while sitting at in the driver's seat of her car here in town. Some say it was a random attack, others say it was after a verbal altercation. Luckily she had a friend with her to chase him down and help police find the attacker.
The teenaged victim received 80 stitches from a plastic surgeon at the local hospital. The attacker was arrested for aggravated assault and possession of a (deadly?) weapon. Unfortunately he was released the next day on his own recognizance without having to post any bail. WTF?!?!?! NJ "bail reform" is a disgrace. Thank you NJ governor disgrace Chris Christie.

So now attackers go free? And it seems that we, the victims, have to turn our houses into fortresses that semble jails to be free of them.

I say forget jail time for every offense. I say let judges determine things according to the crime. If they feel someone who breaks the law needs hung then let him do it.

Wow how crazy he was released the next. Sounds like he got a slap on the wrist for something that could have killed the girl.
