I know a discussion site is for discussion but if there is written facts about the topic of discussion I do not get why people want to argue.I think I got the lawyer mentality I always want to prove me point and get my way when it comes to discussions.People seem stupid when fact are write in front of there fact but still want to argue sometimes it makes me mad but I want to keep this a friendly environment. The computer is like the library do your reading folks.

Actually if you have a lawyer mentality then you would know that facts are only facts if it supports there case it doesn't matter if they're prosecutors or defense lawyers. Also, facts are only facts if the jury says or thinks that they are. I'm a judge and I know how attorneys think and how juries think.

This is an ongoing trend which has greatly increased in the last few years. I see it all the time in politics. Someone will state facts and even provide a credible source, And the disagreeing party will twist it around into a battle of opinion. The facts remain but they confuse the facts provided as being an opinion. But in a way the blame can't fully be put on them because psychologically, disagreeing with a person only strengthens their stance on their own views. The result, more arguing. Some people are so fit to their beliefs that they aren't open minded to facts, and can't distinguish fact from opinion I suppose.

I belief that is the case but when the topic is so small and nothing to be disputing about I dont see why people do that other then the important of the topic weights different with each person
