Guess?

Guess why I was not here yesterday despite the fact that it was my off day, and it will be a long weekend for me. Well, the internet played it again. I cannot access the site, so what I did was I and my son went to the bank to deposit some money I saved from my meager salary. From time to time, I kept on checking the site in my phone, but in vain. So, since I cannot be here, I spent the rest of the day watching TV, nodding off, and playing games on my phones. Guess what again? Tomorrow, we will have the 10 hours power blackout; this time, we are included. (There was a 10-hour interruption of electricity 3 days ago and we were excluded.) Because of that, I decide to be here until tonight, to make it up for tomorrow. And because there will be no electricity tomorrow, I can sit and finalize the evaluation and grades of my 2 groups of students. What do you do when you have (electricity)power interruption?

When there is no electricity? I'll just finish the household chores and go to the mall and enjoy....

that is nice if the mall is just a stone's throw away from our house, but the newly-opened super mall is so far from where i live; in fact, it is located in another barangay.

@ridingbet i said it because the mall here is just 5 to 10 minute walk from our house.

@magallon ahh! i am so envious. but when Robinson's will be finished, it will just be one tricycle ride to reach that supermall.

If it is during the daytime I read. However - our power doesn't stay off that long - one hour at the most.

That is terrible you could not get onto the site . And now you still have that power outage you have to sit through. I usually listen to music or sit in the garden or read during a power outage. I hope you'll still have a good weekend. Good luck with all.

yes, the power interruption gave me ample time to do the grades of my latest group of students. also, it is not so hot during daytime already so it was nice just sitting on a chair and taking a nap

Our power doesn't go off very often but when it is I neaten the apartment,or read if it's light enough, write letters and I like quilting. I might even take a nap

@ridingbet Household chores keep me busy. I don't have a lot of time for hobbies.
