How do you deal with depression

I have felt hormonal imbalance when i underwent hysterectomy. I often find myself so down. I tried writing but then most of the time it does not help.

There are herbs that are helpful, different ones for different people. Besides that, do the basics. Eat healthy foods, get enough sleep, walk and do gentle exercises. I take black cohosh, but talk with friends who have experienced the same thing, as there may be things locally that are good for you.
