Everyone likes relaxing. They always talk about relaxing, just sitting in bed and watching a movie. they want to get to the weekend so they can just take it easy. It is a normal thing to want and do! But for me, I just can't do it. I don't exactly know why I am like this but I get super antsy when I am not doing anything! My skin gets all tingly and my legs are restless and I start getting very anxious. I remember when I was in the hospital a few years ago when I had blood clots, I had to wear a heart monitor. They noticed my heart rate was a little high and a nurse came in. I was in the middle of an anxiety attack because I was doing nothing! I was literally freaking out during a time when I was supposed to be relaxing. I had my mom bring in my laptop so I could work while in the hospital. The professor I had at the time, I emailed before I was in the hospital saying that I might need an extension because I was having medical problems and couldn't work. Well, she was impressed because even though I was in the hospital, I did my work and I was the first one to turn everything in and I was in the flipping hospital with blood clots in my leg and lungs! I just really like working. I took up crocheting so I can do things with my hands all the time. I write so much and I draw a lot. I guess I just really like what I do! No breaks! Never!

People have different ways to reach relaxation, lying still on a bed wouldn't work for me either. There are coloring books for adults, there are plenty of creative activities that help people to relax, instead of being haunted by thoughts and worries by doing nothing. Then the pressure of "what am I doing with my life? I should not waste my time" is also real.

This is something like the boon for you. Many people want to relax whenever they find leisure. Ultimately, I do not understand the very use of this relaxation? Is it really needed? The only thing is we have to slow down the work. That's all. One should not sit idle and waste time., Is not the time a Precious one?

It is needed to prevent heart attacks and other ailments. Some people have hard labor jobs, on their feet all the time and relaxing is good. I work at home so it isn't physically exhausting work, but mentally exhausting so I have a bit more energy and do have a need to relax.
