I've decided to go back to my hometown for a few days. As usual, I bought something for my family. My kids have told me that they want something not available in hometown. Early this morning I arrived home. We got together in the living room chatting happily.
How do you feel when you meet the loved ones whom you haven't met a long time?

Difficult to say as I have not met up with them in many years because of their choice not mine.

WE usually do something special like traveling to other places and enjoying time together. We will be doing that in December when the family from the US comes here for a short vacation.

Oh, if your kids are in the hometown, then you shall go to see them more often. Children will have a closer relationship with someone who can spend more time with them. And they grow up fast. I don't want you miss their golden growing up time. They will be attached to you when they are little. One day when they grow up, it is not easy to see each other so often because of various kinds of reasons. After all, they also have their own lives.

we call that "pasalubong." either you buy something for them as a surprise, or they request something from you that's available where they are. so what did you bring for your kids?

I brought them what was requested by them. That was the cake I brought them a month ago.

i think home is the best way that you can be relax and have great time.
i love my home and i enjoy staying at home..many people like outside and go for a drink or go for a dinner.
but i prefer doing them at home.. home sweet home is really true..
