On Being Alone - in a world that is crying.

Being alone, having it all taken away. That has to be the lowest of the low, the deepest of darkness. The last feeling of glad that can befall a man, a woman, a child. Living in days before the days before today, what would it have been like to be sent away, banished, from a tribe, like a forgotten warrior, survivor of a long battle. We live each day thinking it will never end. We take all things life has to offer us, as if it would never go away. When you find yourself without, in a darkness and state of doubt, it is good to cry.

Definitely, one day at a time, and that is a good thing. We need closure. We can not live beyond our moment. It is like looking for the end of a rainbow and never appreciating the colors.

More and more people are alone in a world overcrowded. I think often to those rejected by the society who have nothing and are alone. They only have their eyes to cry.

@lookatdesktop I see many elderly people around me who are alone. Even if they have money, they are sad all the time.

Most get used to their comfort zones but they do not last forever. We get hit between our eyes anytime and have to pick up the pieces. That is life - nothing is constant. We take our health for granted but things can change overnight. Too soon we feel the ground giving away beneath our feet. That has been life from the very beginning - siva

I'm never alone, even though I spend a lot of time, without people around. The presence of the Lord is so real to me, I never feel lonely, ever.

God will provide peace and contentment and comfort in times of suffering to anyone who asks Him and I have asked Him many times to comfort me when I am in a state of sorrow.

@lookatdesktop The Lord specializes in healings mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. But, without the spiritual strength of the Holy Spirit, none of the others healings will ever come to pass.

This is a good thing to do. The idea of feeling alone can be a lot more serious if the one you wish to be with has passed on to the next life or has moved a thousand miles away.

We are both the candle and the flame, but only the candle is lonely.
I was lonely in my love, as my love needed an outlet to love best and yet perfect love loses nothing without such an outlet too. When we see the truth of this we will love, God, our self, and all others too. When we love totally, our loneliness joins us to oneness in a lone (i.e. the only way) way of our being truly ourselves. When we are totally lonely being ourselves, we lose this loneliness in its connection to oneness in the only real way possible, in us being our real selves. Nobody else can be us. We must be lonely to be our real selves, but we can only be this loneliness by being it within God's oneness.

@Shiva49 Yes, each of us is different, but then again we are all made from the same heart of God's love. We should see the love in each other, at the same time as we respect each person's unique individual carrying, and actioning, of it.

Yes, we need the loneliness away from the din and noise, to live the oneness of creation and play our part with full involvement. We have to be comfortable being ourselves and live with the awareness of our uniqueness shining our light not only to to help others along and also reflect on the light they shine. We are all in it together - siva
