Netflix fees going up - opinions?

I logged onto netflix and received a messaged that fees went from $7.99 to $8.99.
Iam ok with this as its all i own and do tend to watch a few movies a week.
My friend kept messaging me saying she is cancelling dur yo the high jump and going with Amazon prime.

My wife and I have Netfilx and Amazon prime. I am not complaining but of course, my wife pays for Netflix. I will ask her if she wants to keep it. Thanks for the info.

I have heard good things about Amazon prime lately but when we had it my daughter wasn't very impressed by it. I did not get a notice of a price increase but maybe that is only for the lowest cost which is on one tv.
