iphone cold weather problems

So I have been having battery issues with my iPhone in the cold weather and this is what Google has to say... "If one takes out an iPhone on a cold day, the battery life diminishes quickly. Within a few minutes, the battery can lose enough power to shut down the device. It's not actually discharging. Instead, the lithium-ion battery simply cannot function at extremely cold temperatures." I hope this answers everyone's question to me. All we can do is try to keep our phones warm (like in our inside jacket pockets to prevent them from shutting off.) They say cases help but they don't. Or just don't use it outside or even shut it off. All we can do is pack an external battery phone case to charge our phones back up when they randomly shut off.

But not just iPhones have lithium ion phones. The . majority of all smart phones do.so that's where the claim doesn't make sense.

There will be a problem with any device exposed to over heat and coldness. Keep the tempts at a normal level and the device should be in good shape.
