Another New Month.. November is here

So today has been alright, woke up with a headache but doing alright now, thankfully. Late night with the homework but it is basically something she knows about already so thought get the few days on it over. Still trying to catch up in Science and Social Studies. Another big project for Social Studies.
The only thing I don't like at this point is I wish they would realize if all the students in the class cant answer a question, you then know that they are not understanding and just moving on isn't helping them. My other thing is if a child doesn't like to read, (Like Tessa and I don't get it but she doesn't) if you keep making them read about things they have no interest in at all all day then no they aren't going to want to read. K end of rant. 
That said I cant believe that it is another month closer to 2018, where the heck are the days going? I heard one time that as you get older time goes faster and I'm starting to think it is true.

I believe time is going faster also, i'm not ready for winter just yet. I wish the days would slow down but i'm ready for this month and get my surgery done with. Hope your child gets caught up in the classes. Have a great day

If today proves anything we will be working on the weekends too.. lol Getting her to read and write at times is like pulling teeth! 
I hope the surgery goes great and you recover fast. I wish time would slow down too, starting to feel like I blink and we are on the next day.

Does Tessa have any problem with her eyes? As in, is she farsighted? In my family, all farsighted members avoid reading books, because it is not easy for them to hold a book and read it. (They need very long arms in order to move the books further away in order to read anything.)

She has glasses, she just doesnt like to read and or write. Which as we know is a major thing for schooling. She pushes it to see if I will give and just read to her and I told her I will help but not read it to her. Today has been a rough day. *sigh*

@Ithink I dealt with a child like that once. She avoided reading for most of her elementary school years and I was such a dumb mother that I knew nothing. I scolded her badly by the time she was in her grade 5. She didn't change of course, just read a bit more (because she liked the teachers). Later in high school, she still didn't read a lot, but got really high marks for creative writings (fictions, poetry etc). In general, she got pretty good mark for English.
Perhaps Tessa is going to be similar?

@YrNemo What do you mean by "I was such a dumb mother" that you didn't know anything? I don't know but there is no choice but for her to read, she will write her own stories at times, depending on what it is about and who it is for. She has an A in the class, just doesn't like to read which gets us way behind.

Time use to be slow when I'm younger maybe it's really true as we get older time goes faster. First day of November I have colds. Hope this month will be good for all of us

My November 1st is just well and good. I almost spend my time with my sisters taking advantage of the holiday.
