Are you ashamed of your children? Sometimes they do things they shouldn't. Do you think that reflects poorly on you?

Sure my children have embarrased me when they were younger. but I have never been ashamed of them. And never will. I don't think it refected poorly on me because I feel I do the best I can as a parent.

Once you have children, it's not all about you anymore. It is about you and the child. People who worry about self image, don't have a 'good' one. The word 'good', of course, being subjective and judgemental. If you are worried about what others think of your children, learn how to build 'delightful children, thus delightful adults. It's that ol' Early Childhood Education again !!!
