I wanted to try to go to bed fairly early, I wanted to fix my sleep schedule, even though there is no way to schedule my sleep because my brain hates me. But I wanted to fix it a tad because I was getting really annoyed at waking up at like noon. I also wanted to sleep early because my mom and I are going on a little girls day out and she would not want to start out the day afternoon, I know my mamma and she isn't a fan of that. So I wanted to sleep to not wake up at noon. But since I fell asleep so early, at like 10pm, when I do that, I only sleep for 2-4 hours. I made it to 3 hours this time and woke up at 1am. Ugh why? Why does my body hate sleeping at night? I'm just a creature of the night. When it is during the day, I am out, I can sleep for hours with no waking up! But at night, nope, I struggle and I have always been this way. Even as a kid. I just don't get it. I need to learn to just never sleep before 2am, because this is why.

I'm sorry you're struggling with sleep. I struggle with sleep too. Good for me I can sleep in the day time now which I usually can't do

I try not to sleep during the day, but it just ends up happening.

Preachin to the choir here. My body seems not to work any other way than what you just described. Rarely get a cleat 8 hours of sleep. More like a 5 and 3, 1 or 2.

The most I can get at night is 4 hours, but that is very very rare haha

Our bodies get used to our routines. I am I. Bed almost every night between 10:00-10:30. My alarm goes off at 5:30. I get up immediately. I am usually awake before the alarm sounds. I eat at regular times and try to get a good amount of exercise. The odd night whe. I don't sleep well...I don't sleep in....sometimes (rarely) I will fit in a 10 minute power nap.

I have always had random sleep schedules, like sometimes I can go to bed at midnight and wake up at 6am. sometimes I cannot sleep until 6am and wake up 2 hours later. It isn't a routine for me. I think it just depends on the amount of hormones that are going off in my body since I do have hypothyroidism. And also...depression is a factor and I'm bipolar. So yeah!
