Day Four No Sun

I know. I would switch from DISH too, if my mother wasn't with me and dependent on it. It was hard enough just to teach her the Dish remote, lol. I would check into some of the new devices out there and switch to only what I watch. There are so many alternatives these days.

It's nice and sunny here, Although there is a cold breeze.

oh these companies don't seem to care. i called my internet company several times and that is all we have is internet because i can watch everything i want from my Roku, just like having cable. but the others here have been trying to get me to add cable and since Spectrum already raised my internet bill, it would only be about 20 bucks more. when i tried to get the new customer break others are getting, they kept going back to the fact that i got internet as a break for 20 bucks less for the year till that ran out. seems they get you every turn. but i am just going without cable cause i don't need it. i told the others if they want cable throw in the extra 20 a month. lol

I hate it when the internet/phone providers charge some of us more than what others pay. Last summer, or maybe it was the summer before I asked my provider whether they would consider giving us the deal given to new customers, if not, we would be downsizing what we had. They of course, declined my idea, so I got rid of the service for the TV keeping only the internet and phone. Since then, I've gotten mailings about once or twice per week to get the deal which includes TV again. Although, I don't pay a lot less now than I would if I took them up on it, I'm trashing their offers until we get more caught up with our bills. If we ever decided to switch to using our cell phones for a home number I could consider using At and T instead, but for now I'll stay where I am with the cheaper price. Your title got me here because we saw the sun for about half an hour if that today. Just before it got even cloudier than it was when it was raining this morning, but this time the temps fell, the winds got stronger and we got snow flurries too. It sounds like you had a bout with shingles or something?

A dose of poison ivy sounds very nasty. I'm glad it seems to be on its way out.

We just connected to cable, for the third time. Our other service doubled, after a years service. We are getting a light dusting of snow, today.

I can't clean when it is dark.

Glad you're feeling better. It's rainy here too. Husband and I got our flu shots and had lunch in town.

No complaints here

Just returned from the library and that is my big event for the day.

It is rainy here again and more expected through the weekend. My lunch was a large one, so my kitchen is closed for the remainder of the day.
