Does height affect the size of the foot or shoe we wear?

Good morning my lotters, Hope you had a nice weekend as I did here with all the rain. I remember talking of height here and noticed most of us are tall and love it. For me here because of my height I have a big foot. I wear a size 40 which is mostly difficult to find when I go shoe shopping. I have a daughter who is also tall and wears a size 42. Shopping for shoes is hectic for me and my daughter. Getting a shoe this big is a hustle. I believe those with tiny legs can get a wide variety of fashionable shoes. Sometimes when I go shopping with my friends I just envy them because they get their sizes immediately. Does height affect the size of the shoes we wear. Tall for big feet and short for small feet or is it me and my daughter who experience this only? Have a wonderful Week.

I'm sure most tall people have larger feet than small people but there will always be exceptions. Luckily I'm about average height and with average size feet so I find plenty of shoes to fit me.

Yes of course with the height all organs of our body grows in proportion to our height. So tall people have large feet.

I think they have a relationship. Usually taller people's shoe size is bigger. My husband's shoe size is even 43

@nangayo I don't think so. I think it is not hard to buy size 43 for men in China.

Yes, it does. One time I forced myself to wear a shoes that didn't fit me, it hurt for hours. Make sure that when you wear something, it would have an little extra space for your toes.

The worst experience is wearing a shoe that does not fit. I really take my time wearing new shoes because they tend to do this to someone.

Your shoe sizes run very different from the US. My shoe size does not correspond to my height. I don't have a large shoe size, but not a small one either.

I think the height really affect the size of your own shoes, simple because when you are taller you got a bigger feet. It would be hard when you are living in a country where most people are small like the average of 5'2" for women and 5'4" for men. It my country, it will hard for you to find a bigger size of shoes because we are small people.

In our area too most people have small feet no wonder we have a problem getting the right size of shoe for our big feet.

there are exceptions. i'm tall and people are surprised my feet aren't that big. my college classmate's daughters are only in their mid-teens but their shoe sizes are already 42. on the opposite of the spectrum are those with very small feet whose feet are more for kids' size, but are frustrated by the "kid designs"

I always find people with small feet having so many beautiful shoes that we who have big feet do not have. Very discouraging for us.

You can ask an assistant in a shoe shop. There you'll get a precise answer. I'm tall but don't have big feet.

Most of the time I have to ask for assistance and most shop assistants wonder how big our feet are considering we are women.
