30 day thankfulness challenge
Day 13
I am thankful for my other best friend, Robin. Robin holds a special place in my heart. When we moved to New York, we were alone and had no family and friends. Robin and her family became our family (literally and figuratively). My oldest daughter married Robin's son and my son married Robin's niece. Most in-laws do not get along, but our families come together perfectly. Robin can make me laugh when no one else can. She loves all my kids and has a servant's heart like no other. I love her bunches.

Wouldn't that make the kids inlaws by first marriage before the second marriage

@gnatsmom yeah.. confusing.. wouldnt do that myself lol but if everyone is happy

@Courtlynn Not much different than if 2 sisters from one family married 2 brothers from another family. I have friends who did that.
With my gang, though, I wouldn't have it any other way. It is great for holidays, because instead of splitting time between two families, we all get together. My other daughter married a guy from another family and she has to split her time because we are not close to his family. All three of mine have great spouses though. I am blessed. I don't have to worry about my kids being mistreated. I don't have to worry about grand kids being taken care of. All 3 spouses are answered prayers.
