It's like weekend here for 3 days the school is quiet and my sister has no work. This is because of the ASEAN summit these past 3 days. It's Wednesday today and the last day of the 3 day holiday.

The ASEAN summits cause all sorts of disruptions in a city.

I don't know exactly why they have to cancel classes even in remote places

For some places here in Manila, the classes are suspended for the whole week.

I'm sure it will be a nice and welcomed break from classes, both for students and teachers alike. I do have to feel sorry for those affected by traffic jams due to rerouting and road closures to accommodate the foreign dignitaries who will participate in the summit.

The summit is very significant in light of the various issues cropping up Internationally. India is eagerly waiting for the support of Australia and Philippines for their proceedings and ready to extend its cooperation for the success of this summit. Hope some useful declarations may come out in this Summit.
