Good morning to the middle of November.

Today I woke up to a coldish morning again. It is good as I changed pots for more basil seedlings. The first basil plants I had have been taken by my daughters. Not that they took it to their houses. Both have too many work, so I will have to tend to them until December. But I need more basil to have pesto for the whole year. So I am changing to bigger posts the seeds I planted some time ago, not knowing what they were. Did I tell you that I found some seeds with no name among my vegetable seeds and that I planted them calling them "mystery seeds"? They grew to be many basil seedlings which are now ready to transplant. In spite of the garden and other things, I am now at $6 at mylot. IT seems that I´ll reach my own goal of $10 by the end of the month. See you later. I´m off for my coffee.

how big are your basils normally? The one I had several years ago, was a huge bush. Unfortunately, at the time, we didn't use it for anything (we travelled lots at the time).

Is a sort of small plant with many leaves. Maybe it would be a bit over a foot high.

@YrNemo I make pesto for 3 or 4 households. For each of them I need 2 or 3 plants at least. I take the leaves, add plenty of olive oil and crushed garlic and blend it. I has to last for a year.

@marguicha Ours was a bit like that. I am just surprised that you need more than one, that's all (just to show you, we don't use a lot of fresh basil so have no clue!).
