So my sister kind of talked me into playing world of warcraft again. I started playing my priest who was a few bubbles away from the next level. So two quests and a bonus objective brought her to 101! The current max level is 110. So I have a few more levels to go.
I told her about my minor achievement and she informs me about a current in game event going on for their 13 year anniversary. There is supposed to be an in game bonus to experience! Woot! Woot!
Have you ever played wow (world of warcraft) or other games? What do you enjoy in a video game?
I personally like playing with friends/ family. It's something fun that people who do live states away can enjoy together. They can also meet up for lan parties if they live close enough.

World of Warcraft is alot older than 13 years. It was an offline game against the computer, playing the orcs.
That was a cool game. I remember I was only 13 years old myself. 26 years ago.
I remember I used cheat codes like "hurry", "iron forge", "pot of gold"...made the game easier.
There were water elementals, necromancers could summon a deamon, spiders...
I haven't played the online game though.

@Daelii I'm not sure about the caverns, most of the game was played in a map that contained trees to chop wood for building farms to feed and support more crew to fight the enemy.
There was one stage that was inside a cave with fire elementals...I'm not sure that's what you are talking about.

@stringer321 I was making a joke that they played in days of cavemen...when they had to use dirt because we had no computer or electric.

I played when it first came out and through the first two expansions. Then I lost interest. I’ve tried to go back a few times but just never been able to get interested again. I’m moving onto Guild Wars 2 finally since no monthly subscription.

Yeah. I'm finding it to be a bit of a challenge to want to get into the game and play. Its interesting that they have some new races coming out in the next x-pack. Just now, it seems like its a daily grind for quests/raiding/pvp. I'm not a huge fan of it. I do like the exploring bit and since I missed the panda xpac and pretty much most of everything after there is all kinds of stuff to now see.
Just boring without a real good guild to do things together with.

Never played these kinds of video games. I have played something like Zuma Revenge online but that is about all.

I can't say that I have.
I don't really play computer games.
When I did play: I played tournaments in games on pogo.com
I also got my screen name acrogodess from an online game. I used to play acrophobia on uproar.com. It was a word game. The game gave you 3 to 6 letters, an acro and you had to create the sentence using those letters that fit the topic the game provided. My favorite was playing in the adult rooms. One day someone told me, "You are an acro God!" because I frequently won the game and thus acrogodess was born!

14th anniversary for world of craft?! No, I don't play video games . . . Once in a while I play online slots just for fun instead. I lost 10 bucks yesterday.
