I don't really collect anything now but I use to collect Frogs and anything that was cat related. When my mom passed away I got her collection of souvenir spoons. She had a lot of them. They are still in a box I have never got around to displaying them which I plan to do some day. She also use to collect salt and peppers shakers which one of other sisters got. What do you like to collect and how big is your collection?

For years I collected dolls until I ran out of room! My favorites are in a doll cabinet and the rest are in storage. I'd love to see a photo of your mom's spoons when you get them out.

I also collected frogs, still have a few favorites but sold the rest. When I was younger it was unicorns. I also went thru a fairy faze. Now it is Indians as that is part of my heritage, and we are doing my computer room in all Indian things and pictures. I also have a small collection of antique tea pots,I have some from the early 1900's. I only collect the ones that really catch my interest. If you saw my shelves thou some would say I collect books! lol

I used to collect anything horse related and in particular Beswick horses where were associated Royal Doulton china. I have perhaps a dozen or so of these and a lot of other ones. Now I'm trying to scale down so that someone else doesn't have to deal with it all when I'm gone.

I used to collect stamps when I was still in high school. I know I still have my little album stashed somewhere around the house. Now, I'm collecting those refrigerator magnets.

@Happy2BeMe The refrigerator magnet collection started out of souvenirs from trips given by friends or relatives. We attach it to the fridge and eventually we had plenty and liked it! Now every time I saw a cute fridge magnet I buy it.

I used to collect unusual candles (I had a huge Scooby Doo candle that included was figures like Daphne, Fred, and the rest). My sister took them all and threw them away. I also collected bells, but my dad misplaced them when we moved.

My mom collects frogs. Not real ones but the statues. I got her a few myself. My parents and I used to collect bears from TY Beanie Babies but not anymore. We got too many. Not sure if they even make new ones these days. As for me, I collect tickets to all the concerts and shows I attend. Can't sell them for money but they hold a sentimental value for me and are memories.

Around 2009 I walked out and left everything sitting and did not go back for 6 months, I had so much junk. I sold it all. Now I have what I need to live, I call it my stockpile. Its always moving= using and replacing. But Like someone else I have shoes, some new shoes, they are all so pretty! Mine are organized and clean in plastic shoe boxes.

I had a collection , more than 300 pens, then those pens ink was leaking, some for completely disfunctional, so I thought whats the point of keeping such pens , that dont write, so I gave some good ones to some body and rest in the garbage bin.

Apart from some Barbie dolls in the past, now, all headless and disappeared, and a collection of maybe 30 pens which are not really special pens, not much I can recall in terms of collecting really. I also have a few travel souvenir pin badges from obviously, souvenir shops. I'd like to think that when I'm older, I wouldn't have to stress about the huge collection of stuff and how to dispose of them when I've come to end of life decisions. I know an old lady who has a huge huge collection of teddy bears and clowns and now they couldn't find a new home for their stuffed toys. Which is really sad, cause then they would have to just chuck it away once they've sold their big house.

I used to collect porcelain clowns and those pretty painted masks that you hang on walls. I got rid of most of that collection when I moved in with my boyfriend. Now I collect Peanuts memorabilia, Funko Pop figures, and Raphael memorabilia (from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.) I also have a bunch of fairy knick-knacks, which I collected when I was younger, but I have been considering parting with some of them because I'm acquiring too much stuff. Oh, when I was a teenager I collected cows. I had a bunch of cow beanie babies. (I must have gotten rid of most of them, or else they're still out in my parents' garage.) I also had a rather large collection of KISS memorabilia, but I sold most of it at a yard sale years ago.

I collect movies. I'm addicted to movie collecting. I use to collect them on dvd only because I didn't trust digital. Now I collect them in both. This is one of my weakness. I have a few movies I bought that I haven't even watched yet that I've had for 2 or three years. Of course, I try and get them as cheap as possible. Especially 3D Blu Ray. I LOVE 3D!
