The Day Winter Came

I knew yesterday when I seen the weather channel to get my butt in gear and get the outside stuff done, the garage can wait to be cleaned but the other stuff could not.
Last night the storm came as I was on my way home, not only were the winds high but the leaves came with the wind and rain, making it extremely hard to see to drive, when I pulled up to my house I reached in the back seat and got the couple of things that were cold and left the rest.
Today Winter has arrived in Alabama. It will be lucky to get to 50 degrees for a daytime high and around 30 for tonight, the first hard freeze.
I will clean the house today, stay in except to walk the dogs and we usually do around 30 minutes.
What are your plans for this Sunday before Thanksgiving?

Yes I just seen the new weather and they say 29 degrees tonight but after this week we may go back up in the temps once again.

Hope you manage to stay warm. Today was a lazy day. The only thing I had to do was go grocery shopping in the evening, which I got over and done with pretty quick. I was surprised the store wasn't more crowded, although a lot of the stuff needed for Thanksgiving dinner was all picked over.

@andriaperry I had to buy the off-brand of some things, but oh well. The green beans I bought for my green bean casserole weren't the French cut or fancy cut that I like, but I guess everyone can just deal with it.

It was really really cold all day yesterday I don't think it hardly reached 30 degrees. Yup winter is on the way.

That sounds cold.
We are just chilling this afternoon, my husband and I are delivering a microwave stand (its old) that we had online that someone wanted to buy but only has a car and not a van, truck or SUV to transport it in. So she offered to pay us to bring it over, so we are going to do that shortly and then I am going to make some more peanut brittle. And I told my husband that we've been so busy this past week or two that I'd like to go out for supper, just so that we can relax together this afternoon and then enjoy a meal together.
