I guess the fact that some people actually do shouldn't be too surprising when you stop to consider the "POTUS" is also an accused child rapist and serial sex offender! Kellyanne Conway and the governor of Alabama both think the most important thing is to elect a Republican who will vote for their tax cuts for the rich and judicial appointments. Church leaders in Alabama have defended Roy Moore and feel he's a better choice because his Democratic opponent is pro-choice and pro-LGBT. So here it is in a nutshell - abortion under any circumstances is wrong, consensual relationships between members of the same sex are wrong but MOLESTING CHILDREN...that's fine, as long as you vote for a tax cut that benefits the Trump kids and approve judges who want to take away the rights of everyone but straight white males. Welcome to Trump's America.

The point is that they are only accused..Their is no real proof...and no criminal charges have ever been brought out against them.....Their has also never been any civil charges brought against them...Their also has never been any payouts of money to stop charges from being filed...... In America you are always innocent until proved guilty in a court of Law......Their is a big difference of being accused and being proved guilty.... As for Anthony Weiner he was proved guilty in a court of Law and is in Jail for his crimes....as for David Alcon Democratic congressional candidate in New Mexico He has been arrested and is awaiting trial....He has also gone into treatment...As for Al Franklin they are holding hearings right now, and he also said that he did it,and apologized, and their is proof in photos....As for Harvey wienstien they will be bringing charges against him very soon....He also has a record of paying off his victims...The same for Bill Clinton He has also paid off his victims..... No body ever said that molesting Children is OK....It is wrong....That is why we have Laws against it. anybody can accuse anyone of it....It needs to be brought to a court of Law and proven....

IF we were talking about throwing Moore (or Trump for that matter) into jail without a trial I'd agree totally but that's not what we're discussing here. We're talking about someone's fitness to hold one of the highest offices in the United States government. The circumstantial evidence against Moore is damning. He was banned from the local mall back when he was in his thirties and also they were concerned about his behavior at high school sporting events. He answered Hannity's question about whether he'd ever dated underage girls by saying he always asked for the mother's permission. Those women who have courageously spoken out are very credible, even nearly all of your Republican buddies agree. They have nothing to gain in this and much to lose apparently since I heard some of them have been receiving threats. Donald himself said the other day that the women were TRUMP VOTERS. Anthony Weiner belongs in prison and it pains me to say that because I'd thought he was a very good Congressman until I found out what he'd been doing. He's serving time for what he did long after having resigned from the House. I never defended him or his actions. I'm not defending Senator Franken's actions either but his offenses weren't nearly as horrible or, at least as far as we know so far, as numerous as either Moore or Trump or Weinstein, who also belongs in prison by the way. Anyway, there will be ethics investigations on Franken as well as Conyers, Barton and whomever else they find to have behaved in deplorable ways. Molesting children is horrific, I hope we can at least agree on that, and since the statute of limitations has long expired on Moore nothing will ever be done to him legally but that sure doesn't mean he belongs in the U.S. Senate.

@dlr297 You're unbelievable. Trump and Moore could have a threesome with a child on a public square and you'd find a way to excuse them. Nothing has been "proven" about the yearbook, it was just Moore's lawyer grasping at straws. If he really believed it to be fake he'd subpoena it but that hasn't happened. Who cares if one of his victims is now a Democrat? She wasn't old enough to vote back when he was stalking her! Try doing the math. These things happened in the 70s. These women are now over 48. So, tell me, do you believe Donald NOW that the Access Hollywood tape isn't real? Also, if you lived in Alabama can I assume you'd be voting for an accused child molester, right?

@anniepa No i would never excuse Truth...That would be all the proof anyone would need.....But that would never happen... Roy Moore's opponent believes that abortion should be allowed up until birth...He also does not believe in anything that i do....I would vote for Moore unless actual proof came out that he is guilty...........

People will argue that a person is innocent until proven guilty in a legal court of law. Many promising careers have been destroyed through "trial by publicity" whether the accusations were true or false. But when a prominent person is involve, public scrutiny is unavoidable. They should conduct themselves properly and like "Caesar's wife must be above suspicion".

What many people, most of the die-hard Trump and Moore supporters are missing is those who want to hold the highest offices in our government need to be held to a higher standard. I agree we need to treat each case on an individual basis and not jump to unfair conclusions but I think the allegations against Moore are so horrific and so credible he should have immediately stepped aside from his campaign. I thought Trump should have done the same after the Access Hollywood tape came out and I'm still kind of in shock that enough people, especially WOMEN, voted for him to give him the Electoral College win if not the popular vote.

@anniepa _People will believe what they want to believe and it's often hard if not impossible to change that belief especially when religion is involved. Never underestimate the influence of these evangelical pastors who came out for Trump (and Moore). Other factors like the allege Russian meddling, Trump's political showmanship which played on the distrust of politicians by voters as well as Hilary Clinton's shenanigans when she was in power all contributed to Trump's win.

@anniepa - Yes, I agree completely with you. I agree with @JohnRoberts that there are problems with the "dirty old men" on both sides of the aisle. I don't care which party they belong to; I want to see them kicked out of office, out of their acting careers, out of their boardrooms and out of their positions of power. I have four grown daughters and three nearly grown granddaughters. I don't want any of them around any of these men.

And your opinion of Democratic Sen. Al "the groper" Franken? I don't want Moore either but the Dem side seems to have issues in this area also.
