Today I'm thankful for being a woman.
Although I must admit I'm not always thankful for it because of - you know - the whole menstrual cycle and cramps thing.. I am definitely more thankful for it than not.
The main reason, is that I loved being able to get pregnant, carry a child, and give birth to her. It's the most wonderful thing a human can do, and I'm happy that I can still do that in the future if I want to.. I also love that it's something us woman can do that men can not.
Another reason is that although we can be very sensitive at times, we are also very strong. And then our memories.. studies have shown that ours are better, as mens memories decline as they age.
There's also the fact that women are normally the creative ones.. like when it comes to DIY things, and decorating homes to make them feel homey.
Plus being able to go to a spa without being mocked.. and so many makeup and hair styles..
Ugh, I just love being a woman!

I love being a woman as well but I have to say that when I was a child, I would have much rather have been a boy, they seemed to have more fun.

This is a good thing to be thankful for, but I would like to remind you that not all women can get pregnant.

@Courtlynn The way you worded it was like that's the best thing about being a woman. But some of us women can't get pregnant, or don't want to. For us pregnancy is not part of our experiences as women.

@Srbageldog yes, i worded as its the best thing, TO ME. Being that its my post on what i am thankful for. Not what others are.. sorry if you thought i ment in general.

You don't have to remind me, I know that as i had an aunt who couldnt at first and tried for years before she could and once she did she had 4 niscarriages brfore she had a good pregnancy and birth. and I feel bad for those who want to but can't.
But i can and im thankful for that for why i mentioned it.
