I do not know if I will be here much

We got a good start today and it has been a good day. My sister is glad to be here, and glad we could bring her, as she has a lot on her mind. She gets emotionally involved in her neighbors' drama, and talks about it a lot. It seems the hospital has decided to discharge my dad tonight to a nursing home. So in addition to working at Wal Mart all day and a full shift tomorrow and hosting Thanksgiving for family and friends my brother and my sister in law are off checking dad into his new home. We are not sure how long he will need to be there. I wish there was more to do to help them.

That's got to be a helpless feeling. At least you know you can take care of your sister for Thanksgiving. And that's a valuable contribution.

She got to visit with her two daughters, and her three grand kids. It was a good day.

Both of her daughters and her three grand kids were here. My brother is doing okay, got to come home early, and my son and his wife were here too.

She says that her neighbors and stuff surround her, but only her family are her people.

What a weird day to choose to dismiss your father. The hospital here never dismiss patients during a holiday, or a Sunday. They do the day before if they can.

He was anxious to do that. He did already manage to 1. fall out of his wheel chair. and 2. Go lay down in the floor for a nap in someone else's room.
