Bitcoin fees are all very high because of the high price of btc, electrum software wallet allows users to set miners fee but even that is very high, you set it too low and it would indicate " low fee" transaction would take very long or it would not get confirmed and would return to your wallet. So, as long as the price is high, transaction fees would be high to ensure that it goes through.

Because of the recent blockchain fee increase I am no longer happy.
Blockchain supposed to be lowering fee when CryptoCurrency price is rising. And supposed to increase fee when CryptoCurrency price is falling in order to...

@AkoPinay the fees would not hurt much if you bought your bitcoins when it was low, I also did not mind that coins ph fees since I sent mine to my my coinomi wallet, since I bought all of them before the forks, I did an MHOH split inside coinomi and got an equal amout of bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold woooo! Got more than even, I got free money espescially now that BCH quadrupled in price, I converted some to ethereum

@louievill I am not happy because I can't use Bitcoin as alternative to PayPal in sending/receiving funds PH-USA-PH or any country anymore. I mean I can but PayPal is now my best option not Bitcoin. Will just use Bitcoin in-country. What's the use of Bitcoin now? It is no longer practical for INTERNATIONAL transactions (fee is higher than PayPal). It is only good for LOCAL use (no fee) at this time. I am now afraid to keep coins in other wallets except coins.ph because we never know what will happen just like WirexApp they ate my money on my visa card. I have Coinbase account too but we can no longer buy/sell from Coinbase while in the Philippines. I have to fly to the USA or Singapore to withdraw my Bitcoin.

Blockchain fee applies for EXTERNAL transactions only and it is all the same whatever wallet we use. The best Bitcoin Wallet is from a LOCAL Bitcoin company. Coinbase is not available in other countries so check if your country is supported unless you are from the USA. In Asia, only Singapore is supported for Coinbase.

That's why I always advice hodl, hodl and hodl somemore, the term bitcoiners use ( for the sake of everyone reading) that means hold on to your stash in your wallet for as long as you can, I remain unfazed and buy small amounts daily in coins ph, high or low I keep buying, I seldom move my coins because of high fees and only do so when the timing is right

@louievill yeah I used to transfer Satoshis to Poloniex for exchange to Altcoins, now I can't move because of fees. I am not a millionaire buyer.
