Planning to finish on my notifications first

I have been busy at work so no time to MyLot but tonight I have reported to work but it is less busy. I have 154 notifications and I'm currently working on them. I hope to be done in an hour so that I can respond to your discussions.

Some notifications can be for the same action and don't really need any responding to. Like if a person replies to a comment and tags a person in that comment there will be two different notifications for it but it's really one action.

Probably not all of them need responding to because they can be for the same thing.

It's the usual thing I do, finish notifications first then read posts of friends and then if I have more time, post a discussion.

The first thing I do when I get here is to respond to anyone who has commented on my latest post, then pay them a visit. Then I go to my notifications - of course I've attended to some of them already when I checked my own post.
You know that you can opt out of getting notified if someone just likes something you've done?
