Are you generous? Part 1

This is a part 1 because I intend to share two situations. First is this: You man a small store inside a subdivision. A foreigner approaches you. There is a language barrier but he tries his best to communicate his situation with you, and you try your best to listen and understand what he says. He says that he used to live in the subdivision, but not anymore. You don't know who he is. But he apparently lived in that house a few blocks away which is apparently a Korean pastoral house. He apparently lost his celphone. Perhaps he also lost his wallet because what he's actually asking from you is money for transportation going back home somewhere a few cities away. He says he's not sure how much it will cost, but maybe P150 to P200 is enough. He says he will pay you back. What will you do? Will you give him money? Let me know in the comments what you would have done. I will tell you though... I must be a bad person. I told him... you seem to be a nice person, and I don't want to sound like a bad person, but I don't know you, and a lot of people still owe me money for legitimate reasons (I sold them things they never paid me for). P150 to P200 might be nothing to most people, but it is a lot for me. If I were in his situation, I would first ask to borrow money from the people I know (from the pastoral house) instead of from strangers at the nearby store. He said they are not at the house at that moment, probably in a church but he's not sure where. I would probably wait for them to come back... In any case, I must be a bad person.

Too many scams and cheaters these days that I'm not surprised you did what you did. I would probably do the same. I always try to help when I can but it still depends on the situation.

I do not loan money to anyone. I can not afford to.
