According to a BBC report just out, Prince Harry who is fifth in line to the British throne will marry American actress Meghan Markle next year. The couple's engagement was announced a short while ago.
I love the spectacle of royal weddings - don't you ? I wish them all the best.

@LadyDuck I don't think that the Queen can change the line of succession it is determined by law and tradition. Prince Charles will follow her and after him, his eldest son William and then Willimas children. She cannot give the throne to Harry. Of course, all the people in from of him could abdicate but that isn't going to happen.

I read this news say, two weeks or so ago from some magazines. When I checked this with the internet, I was told that it was just rumor! So it is genuine news then. Cool! (Made me think of Prince Andrew when he married Duchess of York ages go! She was a TV presenter or journalist at the time?)

Royal romances often fill our head with fanciful ideas of a "Cinderella" happily ever after story. But we now know the sordid details behind the wedding of the century between Charles and Diana. Somehow after reading background articles about this happy couple, you get the sense that they are very "down to earth" with no pretensions despite their status in life.
