How do you expect men to pamper you if you want equality

There is a meet going on here in India headed by Ivanka Trump and everyone is crying hoarse that they want equality. I am sure even after getting that equality women would still expect their husbands and men around them to pamper them. Will that ever happen?

It's more complicated than just "equality". I think men and women have different needs. As a woman, I actually enjoy being different to a man.

That is what they are attempting to do and that is to narrow down those differences.

Women should be pampered because they take good care of their man in return.

I think it's different. Not equity in terms of love and affection.

I think your question is based on a mistaken assumption. I certainly never expected anyone to pamper me!

@allknowing So are you suggesting that all women want to be treated as equals and yet also want special treatment, and I am the only one among billions who doesn't think this is unfair?

In my country, some men are open to embracing the gender equality. I think it is better than the old days.

Equal rights are expected here. That doesn't mean pampering stops. I still enjoy a man opening a door for me. But general courtesy all round can be enjoyable.

Why should a man open the door to someone who is equal to him? (lol)

@allknowing exactly and I don't actually expect it. I open the door for people if I reach it first and usually receive the same courtesy from others, no matter male or female.

Oh and I should add that there are many countries where women are treated like dirt, they are certainly not treated as equals nor are they pampered by any stretch of the imagination!

I'm for equal rights and support the feminism movement, but a girl is a girl. I love that pampering!

@allknowing yes, many still do here. But it's not expected of men these days.
