I threw my pup down the hallway

Actually this little Heeler gal that I live with, she threw herself down the hallway. It was my fault, though. And there was a rug. You see, Sally the Blue Heeler, discovered where I'd hidden the Frisbee. Oh Lordy from then on. Let the mania begin and never stop. Sally is eight years old now. Still has all things Go Get 'Em!! on her brain. I got sick of her insistence on me bending, picking up the Frisbee and dodging all things breakable in the house. That's when I threw the Frisbee and Sally down the hallway. That cure did not last long.

Oh my! I misread your title and that was my reaction...not sure why but my eyes saw the words I threw my pup onto the highway! I am sure happy that was a simple case of misreading.

@sallypup glad to hear she's safe. I really didn't think you threw her onto the highway....but I did need to reread the title.

That is funny. Yep, some dogs do never quite grow up. Our last three seem to be that way or are going to be that way also.

@sallypup Yes, Brooklyn will come drop her ball in my lap or poke me in my ribs until I go play with her.

@crossbones27 Playing fetch seems to be Sally's job. If I ignore her she will position the toy so that I have to see it.

I'll bet Sally loved that free ride, so how many more times did she hassle you to do it again?

@rebelann Oh yeah. One Vet saw her for the first time and he said. "She looks like a rocket dog!"

I'm sure it didn't if she's a Go Get 'Em dog. It only encouraged her to keep playing.

@just4him When I tell her to "go lay down!" she stares at me like I've just taken all her food away for ever.

Poor Sally, she just wanted to play, but I know they can become annoying when they insist.

@RasmaSandra The first minute we decided to get Sally, the guy who sold her to us said, "My dogs like to play ball." Eight years later, we continue to play ball or Frisbee.
