The moon is too bright on my cam

I just heard on the news that there's going to be a possible visible size increase of our moon next year. But I don't know if I'm going to see that in my country. This evening I decided to take a good picture of it but it's nothing more than a ball flashing of light. As I look at it personally, it really shines so bright with no clouds blocking it.

The moon will increase in size? How's that? Or will it only look as if it did?

Perhaps if you adjust the settings in your camera, you can take a better and clearer photo of the moon,

One will get such picture of moon only. That because of reflection I think.

I believe the moon was supposed to look at its biggest some time this year as it was closest to the earth but i looked and it seemed no different to me.
