The sign which states "Do Not Disturb." is a sign many may either ignore or simply refuse to understand. Not every person will understand exactly what's said and there are some who will continue to ignore the signs and statements addressed. Perhaps there are some who refuse to understand based on wanting to receive whatever it is they're wanting to receive. It's certainly a clear statement but some choose to ignore what is said or desired. The sign says that their should be peace at least the persons putting up the sign or signs would want to receive some peace. There are some who feel that certain persons shouldn't receive any peace at all. There is peace through prayer and meditation. unfortunately we'll have to experience a lot of misfortune while here. What we may want may not be obtained right away. "Through patience and understanding there is hope yet" (Tanikka Paulk). Sometimes we'll have to express over and over exactly what we'd expect. There will still be some unwilling to accept what's said or what's to be achieved. Eventually there will be "the progress" in which we're searching for. At least there should be attempts to establish good communication. Even when we're misunderstood we're able to get through to some individuals. There are some willing to listen and there are some understanding.

I think that if a person gets disturbed when that sign is posted it is a violation of the hotel services management. I don't know if you can actually complain though. People often ignore such signs and they are just plain disrespectful of others.
How effective the 'Do Not Disturb' signs.

Some people ignore the fact that we don't need to be disturbed.
