Every now and then reality hits and I feel like this....

Every now and then I have a day where it hits and I realize that it has only been 5 months since I went through major surgery. Today is one of those days. I am completely exhausted, having some discomfort in my chest and pain between my shoulders. I was having heart palpitations earlier today. Thankfully these day don't happen to often but it is reminder of what I went through. It takes at least a year to recover and sometimes even more. For the most part I feel great but then I get a day like today and all I want to do is crawl in bed and sleep. I didn't sleep well last night either so I think it is going to be an early night for me. Heading home now..it has been along day at work today.

You can rest now. Yes, sometimes it is hard to remember that recovery takes a long time regarding some medical interventions.
