It's time for another music countdown, which I probably will begin tonight or tomorrow. I have, so far, done series' about German bands, Canadian bands, and Australian bands. It occurred to me, just a couple hours ago, that, while I haven't heard them all, I've never heard a Manchester band that I haven't liked. So I am counting down my favorite songs from my favorite city that I've never been to. As a warmup, here is a great song from the last band cut. Enjoy!

Manchester is the birthplace of Lee Majors!!!! Oh, wait, that's Manchester, Kentucky. Never mind, as Emily Litella used to say. Looking forward to this. Manchester is quite a hub for good music.

I like that. Warm up songs, to get people prepared so they do not go into shock.

A few of these shouldn't be any surprise, though.

I wonder if there is any reason why one town would turn out so many great bands.

I don't know. England alone. Liverpool and Leeds have churned out more than their fair share as well.

This is going to be good. I have a strong hunch whose going to make it. About time someone established a New Order here.

I can only imagine how cool Manchester is. I would love to visit there, but I would love to visit anywhere in England. I never heard the song, but it is quite interesting.

I've been to England, for the 1989 Reading Festival. That's all we did, though.
