Zachary Jefferson, 15, who is suffering from autism and Down's Syndrome is getting assistance from the Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office to raise funds to bestow to Zachary a special bicycle before Christmas. The Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office is asking the public to raise $2,000 so Zachary and his mother Denise Jefferson can have a Workman Side By Side "Team Dual" Tricycle. Denise takes care of her son as well as children with special needs. Deputy Ashley Swenson is assisting Denise to raise funds to buy a special needs tricycle since her youngest child has special needs as Denise took care of her child. Zachary used to have his own bicycle before his mom had to take it away from him since due to his medical condition he could get into a traffic accident without having supervision from his relatives, It is likely by the time Christmas arrives this year, both Denise and Zachary will have a special tricycle as their present.
