After the storm

The world looks soft and peachy today with yesterday's storm having moved away to the West. The rising sun is colouring the clean, wet clouds with apricot fruitiness as fishermen haul their canoes down the beach back towards the water. From there they have been fanning out till each has become no more than a small speck fishing in its own wide space under a sky streaked with horizontal, fluffy lines of morning.

Things here are crusted with a bit of ice after yesterdays snow squalls and 95 km wind gusts. Today is supposed to be less windy...but sunny and cold.
