My day was nuts

My son was annoying me every way he could today on purpose.
A guy messaged me on Facebook asking for a ride to get cigarettes and beer. I told him I couldn’t because my son was doing cyber school and I had to stay with him. He messaged me about 3 asking again.
I’m the kind of person I have hard time saying no. He is struggling with a bad case of alcoholism and I felt taking him there is me enabling him but I felt mean saying no so I told him I’d be down. Then we get to town and he only got the beer. If he only wanted beer he could have walked a few blocks down the street to a distributor! I never ever ask for rides even below zero I walk if I don’t have a vehicle.
4 times today I got scam calls from the same recording. I also notificed the same notification on my computer so I’m wondering what is going on. I ran a malware remover on my computers which was clear and am running a virus scan now.
After I made my kids dinner I settled down to eat mine when the Netflix wouldn’t work. I went in to check on it and the cat ate my dinner so then I was stuck eating peanut butter on an english muffin for my dinner.
The m&ms I posted a photo of I saw recently at Walmart and thought they sounded gross. Since they say Strawberry Nut I figured the photo would go with how nuts my day was!

I'm sorry the cat ate your dinner. This happened to me one time with my dog and now I never leave the plate unprotected. Wow, what a weird combination on the M&M's.

That was the case this time for sure. I have always had a hard time saying no and at times that has gotten me in trouble. At least he thanked me a few times and told me I'm gorgeous lol I don't want him to make it a habit of asking for a ride.

Peanut buttered ebglish muffins are good! We've had that for dinner many times. Sorry your day was tough though

I would delete that 'friend' off Facebook. People like that are totally selfish and don't care a jot about you. He called you gorgeous to flatter you so he can ask again. Not that you're not gorgeous of course.

He and I have a lot of similar issues so I am there for him when he needs someone understanding to talk to but I hate being put on the spot like he did. He could have posted on his Facebook wall asking if anyone going to town could have given him a ride then if I wanted to offer I would have.

I find people asking for a ride very strange. Especially in an area where there are good bus connections. My neighbour once asked me if I'm free to give him a ride somewhere. I kindly apologies and referred him to the bus number that goes there. I would never ask people for a ride unless it's an emergency.

It’s okay you laughed I probably would have done the same thing if I had read someone else had posted this. My fault for leaving it where she could get to it. What the heck would a cat want to eat rice, southwestern style corn, spinach and cheese for.

my mother has a problem with saying no too. I don't. I guess that trait skipped me. Today has been nuts for me. I had a hard time putting up a new shower curtain, it's snowing, I had hard time trying to get two ebooks to convert and I had to revise two articles on Textbroker.

I hope your day gets better. I feel your pain - being one who also struggles to say no. It was kind of you, but sometimes people like that get a habit started real easy.

Sea salt caramel Pepsi? I bought my son one the day I took a photo of this candy. He said the soda was good but not great. I didn’t get to try any.
